IIM Vizag, ISFB Launch Immersion Programmes for UG, PG

• IIM Visakhapatnam partners with ISFB to deliver structured campus immersion programs.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Visakhapatnam has revealed a partnership with the Imarticus School of Finance and Business (ISFB), an educational initiative by Imarticus Learning. The collaboration unveils unprecedented academic immersion programs that provide undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students organized experiences within the academic setting of an IIM campus.

Under this initiative, ISFB students will take part in specially designed academic engagement programs at the IIM Visakhapatnam campus. The UG students will undergo a 5-day immersive experience featuring interactive sessions and keynote talks by IIMV faculty. The PG students will participate in a 3-day on-campus training consisting of 126 hours of academic instruction at IIM Visakhapatnam, and individuals who finish this course will obtain executive alumni status from the institute.

The programs seek to familiarize students with the teaching methods, academic environment, and intellectual standards of an IIM early on, connecting classroom education with contemporary industry demands. The IIM-led initiatives will offer participants significant exposure, enhanced self-confidence, and the essential skills required to succeed in the current finance and business landscapes, he mentioned.

Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty, Dean, IIM Visakhapatnam, highlighted the importance of this initiative and said, “We are committed to expanding access to high-quality management education. This collaboration with ISFB helps us expand our academic reach to undergraduate students for the first time, and gives them early exposure to management thinking, analytical skills, and the immersive learning culture of an IIM.

As part of this collaboration, ISFB students will engage in academic training camps held at IIM Visakhapatnam, including sessions led by experts, case-based learning, practical application modules, and insights into advanced management ideas.
