IIM Sirmaur Launches AI-Native MBA for Working Professionals

The IIM Sirmaur has introduced the first MBA program in the country tailored as an AI-native management qualification for professionals. Created in collaboration with Futurense Technologies as Admissions and Industry Partner, the two-year program is designed to equip mid-career managers to lead and make decisions in a business environment influenced by AI.
Set to start in February 2026, the 24-month MBA program is offered online with two on-campus immersion sessions and is aimed at individuals who have a minimum of two years of professional experience. The program does not need any previous coding experience.
The recently launched MBA incorporates Artificial Intelligence into fundamental management education, providing five industry-relevant specializations: AI-Driven Finance & Fintech, AI-Infused Marketing & Growth, AI in Operations and Supply Chain, AI-Enhanced Tourism Management, and Business Transformation with AI & Autonomous AI.
The curriculum employs an execution-first strategy with AI labs, business simulations, capstone projects supervised by faculty and industry mentors, along with access to the Futurense AI Clinic for solving actual enterprise challenges.

Learners will work with over 30 industry tools, such as ChatGPT, Looker Studio, Tableau, Zapier, and LangChain, aiming to equip managers to create and implement AI-driven workflows in conjunction with standard management decision-making.
Raghav Gupta, founder and CEO of Futurense Technologies, stated that the initiative seeks to transform managers into creators of intelligent systems by linking strategy with practical implementation. As the industry collaborator, Futurense Technologies will offer practical workflows, corporate case challenges, and guidance. The institute states that the program responds to the increasing need for managers who comprehend AI’s effects on organizations, incorporate it into business operations, and guide teams collaborating with intelligent systems.
